We will start from the shores of Lago Negro at our Hotel, we will ride along the long beach of this lake to follow an old trail of gaucho mule drivers that show us corrals, streams and abandoned posts (houses) that were used as shelters while they herded their animals. From the beginning of the ride we will enjoy impressive panoramic views and lush vegetation such as Coigües, lengas and Ñirres. When we are already above 750 meters above sea level we will be able to see in our viewpoint the hydrographic basins of Lake Chelenko (General Carrera), Lake Bertrand, Lake Negro, Lake Plomo, Rio Leones, Cordón Contreras and Cerro Hyades that belongs to the North Ice Fields. A beautiful postcard for your memories of the privileged places that you can only reach on horseback from our ranch in Patagonia Aysén.

Our horses and guides are always in the best disposition for these walks, since they are raised in these Patagonian places with many stories of their settler ancestors who opened this and other trails. As Hacienda Tres Lagos, we have been concerned with the reforestation of eroded places and for that we have planted Araucarias on these hillsides that we visit.
