Waterfalls Maqui

Duration: 3 hours

Difficulty: Medium / no restrictions

Availability pax per day: minimum 2 - maximum 6

We leave from the hotel heading towards the highway that heads towards Chile Chico and passes through Pto. Guadal. In about 15 minutes we will be at Puente Río Maqui ready to start walking.

This Los Maquis waterfall is one of the most relevant tourist attractions in Puerto Guadal. Not only because of its waterfall of more than 30 meters, but there are several waterfalls with pools, transparent, with a privileged view and suitable for cooling off like a natural pool in the heights. Here we have a panoramic view of the northern ice fields and its majestic Cerro San Valentín, which is the highest and most difficult peak in Patagonia (4,058 meters above sea level). You will also be able to visualize the immensity of this great lake that you will contemplate while swimming in this pool.

From the same road, we will begin the trekking towards the pools of this waterfall. This trekking is along a steep but very easy path to walk, which will take us in just 20 minutes to the magical pools of this waterfall. If you dare, you can enjoy a delicious bath in these 100% pure waters. Once our contemplation, dip or simply the walk around its surroundings is over, we begin our return to Hacienda Tres Lagos.
