We will walk a circular path, specially made by our guides, causing the least possible impact on the soils, and we will begin to ascend through ancient and imposing “coigue” forests (nothofagus dombeyi), native to this area. We will pass through virgin and unique places in this area. Within the forest we can appreciate species of lichens, native flowers, and wild fruits. If you do this excursion in more humid seasons, you can also marvel at an impressive fungi world.

Leaving the forests, being at a higher altitude, we will begin to observe wonderful landscapes of the Negro Lake and General Carrera Lake, which surround Hacienda Tres Lagos, making it a magical environment and privileged by nature. All this with a panoramic and incomparable view of the glaciers that start the northern ice fields, the third largest expanse of ice in the world with 4,200 km². Upon reaching the final viewpoint, we will be able to appreciate incredible panoramic views of both lakes.
